Art D’Egypt’s journey has started with the unique vision; the annual exhibition showcases modern art amidst historical heritage sites, symbolizing how art transcends time.
“Forever is Now” international art exhibition gathered celebrated artists from all over the world to craft a conversation, with a visual narrative, between the contemporary art forms and a civilization of which every trace is an art form of its own.
As a major milestone of success, the exhibition has brought the general public closer to the international art scene following on from their vision of “democratizing art”.
The exhibition attracted more than 530K national and international visitors, setting a high standard for the upcoming international art exhibitions in the country.
Amongst the attendees were H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokry, and H.E. the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled EL-Anany, as well as several prominent figures including H.E. the Prime Minister of Albania, the Royal family of Luxembourg, Dr. Zahi Hawass, H.E the US Ambassador Jonathan Cohen, Samih Sawiris, Naguib Sawiris, Yasmin Khamis, Farida Khamis.
The artists featured in the exhibition were Alexander Ponomarev; American artist Gisela Colón; Brazilian artist João Trevisan; French Artist JR; Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn; Egyptian artist Moataz Nasr; Egyptian born, Los Angeles- based artist Sherin Guirguis; British artists Shuster + Moseley; British artist Stephen Cox RA; and Saudi Arabian artist HRH Prince Sultan bin Fahad. Every artist had his own visual language of expressing their interpretation of the exhibition’s theme.
