For Tony Ward’s Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 26/27, titled L’Art du Regard, beauty is never just what meets the eye. At first glance, the collection feels romantic and familiar—pastel hues, sculpted silhouettes, and delicate florals—but beneath the surface lies a masterful play on perception.

Inspired by the theatrical elegance of late Renaissance artistry and the grandeur of gardens like Palace of Versailles, Ward transforms ornament into narrative. Florals become brushstrokes, embroideries appear almost painted, and trompe-l’œil details blur the line between what is real and what is imagined. Structured gowns with balloon sleeves, corseted bodices opening into airy tulle skirts, and richly beaded baroque tulles in cherry red, dusty blue, and gold create silhouettes that feel both composed and dramatic.

From sculpted minis to striking column gowns, the collection evolves into darker, more graphic statements—high collars, velvet trims, metallic tweeds, and sequins dissolving like pigments on canvas.

With L’Art du Regard, Tony Ward invites us to pause, look closer, and rediscover beauty not as an illusion—but as a deliberate work of art.
