The 48th Toronto International Film Festival hosted the global premiere of “Mandoob,” a darkly humorous crime thriller funded by the Red Sea Film Foundation.

The film is set in Riyadh and is directed by Saudi filmmaker, writer, and producer Ali Kalthami. It follows the tale of Fahad Al-Gadaani, a mentally ill man who must act quickly to save his ailing father.
